Feature of instruction:
This is the first of the series of my Chinese Painting DVD. It is for absolute beginners. There is detailed explanation of the materials, namely the four treasures in a Chinese studio, brush, ink, paper and ink stone. The explanation is based on practical usage particularly for this DVD, such as the exact brush, ink and paper used in this class.
The instruction is conducted from simpler to more complicate subjects, starting from Bamboo, orchid, then chrysanthemum and plum blossom. Demonstration is accompanied by clear explanation. There is not demo of how to do, but also trouble shoot of what is wrong and how to avoid.
The DVD goes with the text book, "The Beauty of Innocence." Most demos are conducted according to the painting sample on the book.

All video footage is shot in high resolution close up image.
This DVD is composed of 5 chapters. Each chapter is edited from 5 to 10 individual detailed topics seperated by clear titling. For example the plum blossom,
plum, flower, flower with branch, branch with outlined flower, branch, spontaneous flower, dotted flower with branch, let the flower stand out.
The DVD has full function of any usually DVD. You can play right away or choose scene, can pause, stop, fast forward etc.

This DVD is labeled with a printed design indicating the 5 chapter's name.
